Answer- It would have been better option if steel was lighter, however stainless steel Grade 304/corrosion free Grade SS would be really have which makes definite “NO” coz once it becomes heavy, it becomes even more difficult to pull once the clothes are hung. Hence Aluminum Alloy which is anodized (Corrosion free) is a better option compared to SS or substandard Mild Steel/lower grade stainless steel. Also, stainless steel is expensive compared to aluminum which would be additional burden on customers.
